On Friday last, First Choice Credit Union announced the five lucky recipients of the 2025 Brendan Hopkins Bursary Fund. The Bursary – in memory of former Credit Union director Brendan Hopkins – was created to assist students throughout the First Choice Credit Union common bond in their quest for third level education. There is FIVE BURSARIES awarded to the value of €1,000 each.
The winners of the 2025 Brendan Hopkins Bursary are: James McManamon, Joy Osolamhe Okosodo, Gift Okolie, Méabh Roper and Laura Gallagher.

The Bursaries are exclusive to First Choice Credit Union members to assist them with their chosen education path, and applications are invited from members who are commencing or attending third level educational courses.
The 2026 Brendan Hopkins Bursary will be launched next summer so for Leaving Certificate & Third Level Students, be sure to keep the date in your diary.
