Community Fund
First Choice Credit Union is delighted to launch its Community Fund of €100,000. The fund is an initiative designed to support projects within our common bond of Achill, Balla, Ballyhaunis, Castlebar, Kiltimagh, Swinford and surrounding areas, for Social, Cultural or Charitable purposes (including Community Development). Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis.
The new Community Fund is for larger scale projects and initiatives that will benefit the wider community and is separate to the sponsorship and financial supports that First Choice Credit Union has long been associated with. These smaller sponsorships and financial supports will continue to be issued by the Credit Union
IMPORTANT DATES
- Closing Date for Round 1 – 31st May 2024.
Please note, an additional round of funding will be added later in 2024.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply for a share of our Community Fund, simply complete and submit the online form below.
Alternatively, you can download an application form below and return it to us by email on community@fccu.ie or drop it in to any of our offices clearly marked for the attention of the Community Fund Committee in Achill, Balla, Ballyhaunis, Castlebar, Kiltimagh or Swinford.
