On Friday last, First Choice Credit Union announced the five lucky recipients of the 2024 Brendan Hopkins Bursary Fund. The Bursary – in memory of former Credit Union director Brendan Hopkins – was created to assist students throughout the First Choice Credit Union common bond in their quest for third level education. There is FIVE BURSARIES awarded to the value of €1,000 each.

The winners of the 2024 Brendan Hopkins Bursary are: Hannah Booth, Dana Moore, Darragh Maloney, Ellen Roper & Latisha Beirne.

We are proud to provide this bursary to eligible students within our common bond, reflecting our commitment to supporting students and our local communities. The Bursaries are exclusive to First Choice Credit Union members to assist them with their chosen education path, and applications are invited from members who are commencing or attending third level educational courses.

The 2025 Brendan Hopkins Bursary will be launched next summer so for Leaving Certificate & Third Level Students, be sure to keep the date in your diary.
