This loan has been designed to offer local community groups, organisations, and charities access to capital to help make their vision become a reality.

This loan has been developed to support projects and initiatives within the following areas: sport and recreation, culture and heritage, the arts, health of the community, natural environment projects and youth, welfare, and amenities.

Community Loan Secured:

• Secured rate of 5.25% (5.38% APR).
• Maximum loan is €400,000 per borrower.
• Maximum term is 20 years.
• No penalty for early repayment.
• Flexible repayment options.

Community Loan Unsecured:

• Unsecured rate of 6.00% (6.17% APR).
• Maximum loan is €100,000 per borrower.
• Maximum term is 10 years.
• No penalty for early repayment.
• Flexible repayment options.

Local groups, clubs, organisations and charities may also be interested in our Community Fund.

Representative Example: A Community Loan Secured of €200,000, with a variable interest rate of 5.25% (APR 5.38%), over 15 years would have 180 monthly repayments of €1,607.95. Total cost of credit of €89,412.30. Total amount repayable of €289,412.30.

Representative Example: A Community Loan Unsecured of €50,000, with a variable interest rate of 6.00% (APR 6.17%), over 10 years would have 120 monthly repayments of €555.17. Total cost of credit of €16,617.35. Total amount repayable of €66,617.35.
