Every year, members are invited to attend our AGM. In accordance with legislation, we are required to write to every member to invite them to attend. The AGM is an opportunity for our members to voices their opinions and partake in the democratic process, important features of being a co-operative!

The costs involved in having these booklets printed and posted accrue substantial costs to the member. The savings made by members switching to receiving the electronic version reduces expenditure and is passed back on to members indirectly. Not only this, it also seriously damages the environment by unnecessarily using paper and energy. We are working hard to reduce the amount of waste we have in First Choice Credit Union and lessen our carbon footprint. You can help us to do this by making switch today! These notifications will be delivered straight to your inbox, which you can easily access whenever you need to on mobile or any other device.

Switching to electronic AGM notifications is simple:

Option 1

Simply call into any of our branches and ask a member of staff to update your membership account to receive e-AGM booklets.

Option 2 – just follow these steps:

1. If you haven’t already Signed Up for our Online Services and you can do so here; register. If you have already sign up simply Log In and follow the below steps.

2. Go to the Personal Settings button (top right of the screen).

3. Then under the Obligatory Communications heading there are two options, statements and AGM Notifications.

4. Check the box for AGM Notifications and the change will be logged on our system.

Voilà! All done  🙂

If for any reason you change your mind and would like to change back to receiving the printed version you can do so at any time through the personal settings on our online banking platform. If you have any questions staff are always happy to help!
